butter
melted

golden syrup

boiling

bicarbonate soda
(add a little water if the mixture is too dry)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius.
Combine dry ingredients.
Mix golden syrup, boiling water and bicarbonate of soda until they froth. Add melted butter.
Combine butter mixture and dry ingredients.
Make 24 biscuits by dropping spoonfuls of mixture onto a floured tray, allowing room for spreading.
Bake in a slow oven for 15-20 minutes (or until nicely golden).
